A friend of mine has started a 21 yr endowment policy with AIA.She paid a monthly premium of $68.
Now the policy has matured and she received a cheque of $12,800. Within these 21 yrs, she has received 3 other payments of $1000 each. Total received = $15800. But I calculated for her, The premiums she has paid is 68*12*21 = 17136. In other words, she received far less than she has paid. Is there an error on the payment??????
